K.P. JAYASWAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE, PATNA
The Kashi Prasad Jayaswal Research Institute (KPJRI) located in the Patna Museum building The Kashi Pra Certificate Course In haeology. The institute was established by the Bihar researches in Research Methodology Government in October 1990 and or under the control of the Education Department The Institute was established to work as a catalyst in the process of the cultural renaissance that would help discover and reconstruct the rich heritage of the province.
The Institute has undertaken comprehensive projects on the history and archaeology of Bihar, and has succeeded in bringing out a magnum opus on the history of Bihar in three volumes and six parts It has also undertaken a massive archaeological survey of the province exploring 7000 sites in 30 districts of Bihar.
